Depending on how you use the service, BeLingo may collect:
- Parent or guardian contact details, including name, email address, phone number, and WhatsApp data.
- Child and family information shared for diagnosis or therapy planning, including languages used at home.
- Appointment, attendance, scheduling, therapist assignment, and follow-up records.
- Portal account information and secure session data required to access the dashboard.
- Billing and payment status information. Card processing is handled by Stripe and not stored by BeLingo.
- Basic technical data such as browser information, local language preference, and essential cookie choices.
3. Why we use the data
BeLingo uses personal data to operate the service, including to:
- Respond to booking requests and coordinate diagnosis or therapy sessions.
- Show appointments in the correct local time zone and generate meeting or calendar links.
- Manage therapist workflows, client communication, homework, reports, and session follow-up.
- Issue payment links, confirm payment status, and maintain operational records.
- Keep the website and client portal secure, stable, and functional.
4. Cookies and local storage
BeLingo uses essential cookies and similar storage for security, session handling, and language preference. The site currently does not use advertising cookies. Optional preferences may remember the language you selected so the website stays in English or Polish on your next visit.
5. Processors and service providers
BeLingo uses third-party providers that process data on its behalf, including:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting, authentication support, and operational storage.
- Stripe for payment pages, transaction processing, and payment status updates.
- Zoom and related calendar tools for online meetings, scheduling, and invite distribution.
- WhatsApp and email for booking coordination, reminders, and support messages.
These providers process data under their own terms and security controls. BeLingo shares only the information needed to provide the requested service.
6. International transfers
Families may use BeLingo from different countries, and the technical providers listed above may process data internationally. When cross-border processing happens, BeLingo relies on the safeguards made available by those providers and limits data access to operational need.
7. Retention
BeLingo keeps operational and client records only for as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain a reliable history of appointments and care coordination. Records that are no longer required should be deleted or anonymized where practical.
8. Your rights

9. Children’s information
BeLingo works with families and children, so parents or legal guardians should provide information only where they have authority to do so.
